Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS, Sterling OMS)

GSPANN is hiring a senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to run AWS infrastructure for an IBM Sterling Order Management platform. The role suits someone with deep platform and infrastructure experience who has kept business-critical retail or e-commerce systems available through peak traffic.

What you would work on

• Designing and running AWS infrastructure: EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS and CloudWatch

• Managing infrastructure as code with Terraform

• Building and maintaining CI/CD with GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins

• Administering Linux and Unix systems and scripting in Python and Shell

• Monitoring with Datadog, Splunk and CloudWatch

• Planning high availability and disaster recovery

• Handling cloud security, IAM and secrets management, and supporting Oracle WebLogic

What they are looking for

• 10+ years in cloud or platform engineering, DevOps or infrastructure engineering

• Strong AWS and Terraform skills

• GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins experience

• Linux administration and scripting

• Preferred: IBM Sterling OMS, Kubernetes, EKS, Docker, Helm and Argo CD

• Preferred: retail, e-commerce or order management domain experience, and AWS certifications
