DevOps Engineer 3 (MineStar)

Kimaya Hiring is recruiting a DevOps Engineer 3 for Caterpillar's MineStar operations team at its Irving, Texas headquarters. MineStar is Caterpillar's family of digital mining products that connect mining equipment and systems for real-time monitoring, guidance and fleet control. You will own automation across build, test, deployment and infrastructure.

What you would work on

• Designing and maintaining end-to-end automation across build, test, deployment and infrastructure

• Building and supporting CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub and Azure DevOps

• Developing infrastructure as code

• Supporting AWS infrastructure and containerised applications on Kubernetes

• Standardising pipelines and environments with developers, QA and Agile teams

• Finding delivery bottlenecks and removing manual steps

• Troubleshooting automation and deployment issues and fixing root causes

• Supporting microservices in production

What they are looking for

• Strong hands-on experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Kubernetes and AWS

• Infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipeline design

• Ability to take technical ownership across several Agile teams

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education and experience
