Golden Image Engineer (DevOps)

NexHire Solutions is hiring six Golden Image Engineers for a remote DevOps engagement. Golden image engineers build and maintain the hardened base container images that every other team builds on, so the work is part platform engineering and part security. If you enjoy driving CVE counts down and keeping base images lean and reproducible, this is a good fit.

What you would work on

• Building, hardening and versioning golden Docker base images for internal teams

• Scanning images for vulnerabilities and fixing CVEs before they reach production

• Automating image builds, tests and releases with Python and CI/CD pipelines

• Keeping Linux base layers patched and minimal

• Documenting image standards and helping application teams adopt them

• Working with security teams on container security policy

What they are looking for

• 7 to 8 years of experience in DevOps, platform or infrastructure roles

• Strong Docker and container image engineering experience

• Hands-on CVE analysis and remediation

• Python scripting for automation

• Solid Linux administration

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines
