Senior DevOps Engineer (On-Premises Automation)

SGS Consultancy is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer for an MNC client to lead on-premises infrastructure automation. The goal is secure, repeatable provisioning across on-premises data centres and Azure, with proper approvals, compliance checks and rollback built in.

What you would work on

• Leading Jenkins CI/CD pipelines that provision on-premises infrastructure

• Automating VM and physical host provisioning, OS deployment, configuration, validation and rollback

• Writing and maintaining Ansible roles, PowerShell modules and automation scripts

• Building in security scanning, secrets management, approvals and compliance controls

• Integrating automation with ServiceNow, CMDB and change management

• Troubleshooting infrastructure issues and supporting UAT and production handover

What they are looking for

• 8+ years of DevOps or infrastructure automation experience

• Strong on-premises automation background

• Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines

• Ansible and PowerShell, plus Python scripting

• VMware and Kubernetes

• Terraform, Git, security scanning and secrets management, and Windows and Linux administration
