ServiceNow ITOM, CMDB and Discovery Solution Architect

Entire Tech Services is hiring a Solution Architect for ServiceNow ITOM, CMDB and Discovery. You will lead architecture and delivery of Discovery and Service Mapping for enterprise clients and keep their CMDB accurate. You need 7 to 12 years in IT, with 5+ years on ServiceNow ITOM, CMDB and Discovery.

What you would work on

• Designing architecture for ITOM, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management and CMDB

• Rolling out and tuning Discovery and Service Mapping across AWS, Azure, GCP and on-premise estates

• Fixing hard discovery problems: pattern changes, credentials and MID Server scaling

• Setting CMDB health measures and enforcing CI classes, identifier rules and reconciliation rules

• Connecting the CMDB to monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog and AppDynamics, and to Incident, Problem and Change

• Mentoring developers, reviewing code and working closely with client leadership

What they are looking for

• Deep experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, pattern building and Event Management

• Strong knowledge of CSDM and CMDB data governance

• Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, SNMP, SSH, WMI, PowerShell, firewalls and load balancers

• JavaScript, REST and SOAP APIs, JSON and XML for integrations

• Nice to have: CIS Discovery, CIS Service Mapping, CIS Event Management, CSA and CAD certifications
