Staff Cloud Security Architect

Rubrik is hiring a staff cloud security architect into its information security organisation in Bangalore. The group runs security initiatives across the company, building the technology, tooling and processes that keep software development, infrastructure and third party data relationships secure. You would set the architectural direction for how Rubrik secures its cloud estate.

What you would work on - Setting out cloud security architecture frameworks, principles and guidelines for teams to build against - Working with architects, developers and engineers on scalable answers to infrastructure security problems - Building proofs of concept and tooling that address security gaps at scale rather than one at a time - Carrying out architecture reviews, threat modelling, security assessments and risk analysis - Producing secure reference architectures and reusable cloud security patterns others can adopt - Planning which cloud security capabilities and public cloud tooling to invest in next - Supporting incident responders when cloud incidents need detection, investigation or containment

What they are looking for - Fifteen or more years securing complex deployments, of which at least six in cloud security architecture - Substantial hands on work in AWS, GCP or Azure, and a detailed understanding of their compute, network and storage services - Coding ability in Python, Go or Java - Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Docker, microservices and delivery pipelines - At least five years using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible - A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field, plus the ability to explain technical risk to non specialist audiences
